You and your partner meet Mike (in person, phone, or Zoom — your call). Good vibes, real conversation, and at the end you'll sign a contract to lock in your date.
Homework Time
Mike gives you both a short questionnaire to complete separately. Your answers — combined with his notes from your consult — become the raw material for your one-of-a-kind ceremony.
The Cold Read
Phone or Zoom — you choose. You'll hear your ceremony story for the very first time. Love it? Say so. Want something tweaked, added, cut, or lengthened? This is your moment. Live edits happen right here.
Marriage License 101
Mike walks you through everything you need to know — where to go, what to bring, fees, timing, and what to expect at your appointment. No surprises, no scrambling.
Wedding Day — Mike Arrives Early
Tick tock — it's almost wedding o'clock! Mike shows up 1–3 hours ahead of time, checks in with your vendors, makes any announcements, does a mic check, and makes sure you're both feeling great.
Your Ceremony
This is it. The moment you've been building toward. Mike performs the ceremony you helped create — every word chosen for you, by you.
Sign, Hug, Selfie
Right after the ceremony, you sign your marriage license. Then come the hugs, the happy tears, the excitement — and yes, some unforgettable selfies. Then Mike heads out so you can celebrate.
License Filed
Within a day or two, Mike returns the license to the county. If local, he often gets instant approval and lets you know right away. If mailed, he'll keep you posted. Every county has its own timeline and process.
You're Officially Married!
Once it's recorded, Mike follows up with how to get your official marriage certificate. And just like that — a new chapter begins. Plus, you've got a new friend in your corner. Pass his number along anytime.
